If you want to create an aesthetically pleasing aspect to your slime, most slime accounts will swirl slimes to create a visually pleasing picture. Swirling slime also creates bubbles, which can be fun to squeeze and make ASMR popping noises with.
Spreading slime is commonly associated with butter slime, due to its spreadable and malleable texture. This means that it is easy to spread, almost like butter. This can be done with your hands or any other spreading utensil.
